Both day and evening hours as well as Saturday times are available. An hour is kept open daily for emergent situations.

Carol is a provider for most insurers including BCBS (all plans including HMO Blue), Harvard Pilgrim, United Health Care, Tufts, Cigna, and Tricare and is contracted with local and national Employee Assistance Plans (EAPS). Carol’s practice has the capacity to initiate the process of determining your behavioral health benefits prior to your first appointment and will complete all billing throughout the course of treatment. The hourly psychotherapy fee is $125.00. Sliding fee scale can accomodate your financial situation.

Carol Fizer’s office is located in Newtonville (the cross street is Walnut Street). There is on the street parking as well as a short walk to the Commuter Rail. There is bus service from Newton Center and Newton Highlands via Bus 69.

If you or someone in your family is in need of medication, a referral to a psychopharmacologist, who will closely assess your need for medication and follow-up, is available.
